Tell us more about your background.
I'm a former corporate gal with an MBA who decided that writing books to relive my teen years would be wa-a-y more fun. And I was right! Best. Decision. Ever.
Which characters would you like to see get together, and why? There's a catch though! You can only pick one character, and pick one more from a different author.
Fun question! Let's see… I really like Phoebe from Tera Lynn Childs' Oh. My. Gods. series. She's driven and funny and a real match for the right guy. And although she's got a great guy in the series, I think it would be fun to see her with Archer from Rachel Hawkins' Hex Hall. Major sparks.
What would your life be like if you weren't *gasp* an author?
Hmm… I have, at various points in my life, wanted to be: a CFO of a Fortune 500 company, an actress, a bacterial epidemiologist, a real estate agent, and a professor. But more than likely, I'd be doing something along the lines of my former corporate job as a leadership development specialist. (Remember that thing I said about writing being more fun? Insert reminder here. So true.)
Having read TCS, I'm glad you chose to be an author. Are you working on any new projects that you can tell us?
Right now, I'm working on the sequel to The Cinderella Society titled Cindy on a Mission. Cindy on a Mission will be a Spring 2011 release from Egmont USA. It continues Jess's adventures in the Sisterhood and deals with a major new twist in the battle against the Wickeds.
What do you think of characters having their own Twitter account to chat with readers? And can we expect one from you? :P
I think these can be super fun! I'm not a huge fan of character blogs just because I don't have time to read new blogs very often. I tend to stick to my old faves. J But characters on Twitter are totally fun. So yes, you might just see that from me down the road!

Dying should have been the worst moment in my life. I mean, hello, getting run over by a school bus full of band geeks while wearing the regulation gym uniform of red polyester short shorts and a practically see-through white T-shirt? It doesn’t get more tragic than that.-The Ghost and The Goth by Stacey Kade
